Under-Age: Under 13: Multy was the venue for our under 13 game on
Saturday. This was a great game with
end-to-end football. With 2 goals in the
final minutes, St Fintan’s/Bunbrosna ran out winners.
Under 12: St
Fintan’s/Bunbrosna played Delvin in Cusack Park and after a good game they were
on the winning side once again.
This was a good week for our
newly formed amalgamation and we congratulate all our players on their
performances.

Tickets are on sale at present for our next fund-raising venture – ‘Pin
the Poo on the Pitch’. ‘Daisy’ makes her decision on Sunday 21st
August with a barbecue, sports and other attractions

Lotto Results: There was no jackpot
winner in our fortnightly lotto draw on Wednesday. Two players matched 3 numbers, Martina Ward,
Mullingar and Conor Maguire, Rathowen, with Jim Finnan taking the sellers’
prize. The numbers were
13-14-23-28. The next draw takes place
on Wednesday August 3rd and the jackpot will be €4,350.
Senior Championship

Senior Championship: On
Sunday last we travelled to Tang to take on current champions, Garrycastle in
the championship. This was always
expected to be a very tough game and this it turned out to be, even exceeding
the expectations. With the reigning
champions in fine form, they ran out easy winners on the score 4-12 to
1-8. Our lads played well throughout the
game but the opposition proved far too strong.

Senior Championship

Our next game in the senior championship will be with The Downs and is
fixed for Saturday 16th July in Cusack Park at 6pm
Training continues at
the usual times and it is essential that all players attend in preparation for
the vital championship with The Downs on 16th.
