ACL Division 1:   Bunbrosna V Mullingar Shamrocks.  On Friday evening Bunbrosna were host to Mullingar Shamrocks in Division 1.  This was always going to be a close game and this it turned out to be.  It was a good lively game with both sides notching up some good scores.  Our lads battled all the way to the final whistle and had just one point to spare to claim full points from the encounter.  The final score was Bunbrosna 1-15 Mullingar 3-8.  Well done to all concerned on this important Read more...

New Councillor: Congratulations to Avril Whitney who was elected as the new member of Westmeath Co. Council. Avril is well known in Scór Iarmhí, having achieved the ultimate honour, an All-Ireland title representing Bunbrosna in the recitation section and is also a member of Clann Gaels  Ladies football club.  We know she will be “top of the league” in her new role also.  Avril replaces Niamh Kiernan, Rathowen who resigned her seat recently.  Both ladies are wished the best of luck in Read more...

Lotto:  There was no winner in our fortnightly lotto draw and the following matched three numbers

Tommy Lennon, Mullingar and Kathleen McCormack, Balrath.  The sellers’ prize went to Lucy Duck.

The numbers drawn were 4-5-7-14.

Next draw will be on Wednesday 6^th June when the jackpot will be €7,500.
